Summers at ARTSport
Broadway Bound
The Broadway Bound summer theatre workshop offers an intensive introduction
to the performing arts. The five-week session includes classes in acting,
singing and dance and culminates in a staged showcase of scenes, songs and
production numbers from a variety of plays & musicals. Everybody works! The
professional staff embodies years of performing and teaching experience,
guaranteed to make this summer the hardest work you'll ever love.
Broadway Babes
In keeping with the spirit that drives Broadway Bound, Broadway Babes offers
theatrical training in kid-size form for children ages 6-9. The three-week
session includes introductory classes in acting, singing and dance and
culminates in a showcase of age-appropriate, Broadway musical scenes, songs
and production numbers so that every child gets a chance to participate and
shine.
Circus Minimus
For anyone who ever wanted to run away and join the circus, now you don't
have to! Join Circus Minimus for two weeks of juggling, tumbling, stilts,
unicycles and even the tight-wire! NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! The workshop
ends with a performance of "The Circus Kids Create".

E.T.C. (Evening Theatre Classes)
For Adults!
Tuesdays: Acting
Acting is a communications medium. Basic acting techniques can enhance
performance whether a person plans to be an actor on the stage or
merely gets up before a crowd: teachers, lawyers, speech-makers,
etc. Kate Katcher will help you discover ways to hone your communications
skills with confidence and presence. Come learn the basics: how
you apply them is up to you.
