Jen Durkin is also well-known for not only fronting Deep Banana Blackout, but also for joining Grateful Dead drummers Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann, with Mike Gordon (Phish) and Steve Kimock, on a 30 day tour debuting new songs written by Robert Hunter. Jen “Pipes” kept on touring in the Mickey Hart Band with master of funk George Porter, Jr, Walfredo Reyes, Jr. and Kyle Hollingsworth, through the summer of 2008.
The Name Droppers are a Blues, Rock and Soul band that hails out of Fairfield Connecticut.
Rafe Klein- Rafe is no stranger to the music scene, as he played along side blues legend Charlie Karp for many years and co-wrote many songs that appeared on Charlie Karp’s last album “Back to You” (Courtesy of Red Parlor Records).
Bobby “T” Torello- Bobby has an extensive career, most notably as the former drummer for the Johnny Winter Band. He was inducted into the Classic Drummer Hall of Fame, was inducted into the New England Music Hall of Fame, serves as an ambassador for WFIII drums, and has served as a session drummer on some of rocks greatest recordings.
Scott Spray- Like Bobby “T”, Scott was the bassist for the Johnny Winter Band and has an extensive career having played with some of the biggest names in rock and roll. His credits span decades, and his bass work on Johnny Winter’s album “Step Back” earned him a Grammy for Best Blues Album in 2015.
Ron Rifkin- Ron is a keyboard powerhouse who has played on numerous sessions, and played along side Charlie Karp live and in the studio for many years. His unique style of playing puts him in high demand as a session player, and he has numerous credits under his belt.
Carol Sylvan- As a recording artist, Ms. Sylvan is an international recording star. With Top Ten Billboard dance hit “Just Doin What We Love,” produced by mix masters Mike Rosenman and Mike Hacker. Ms. Sylvan international dance song’s include “Come Go With Me,” “Caught Up,” with Angles of Love. Ms. Sylvan is one of Italy’s favorite dance recording artist. Mix Magazine voted Carole’s song “Look Ahead” Best Record of the Year. She has performed all over the world and recorded with CC Music Factory, Change, Aaron Neville, Peabo Bryson, Pet Shop Boys, Simply Red, Toni Braxton, Rupaul, Gloria Lynn, Diane Schuur, Natalie Cole, Jennifer Holiday, Charlie Karp, Patti LaBelle and many more. Ms. Sylvan performed vocals on Multi-Platinum song U2’s Rattle and Hum as well as other movie soundtracks and commercials. In 2019 she sang on Charlie Karp’s final studio album “Back To You” releases on Red Parlor Records which charted on the Roots Music Report for Blues Rock 2020.
Vicki F is an authentic punk rock/new wave musician from the 1970s-early 80s. “Definite Yes,” is her reemergence into the music scene after stepping away for years. Her band Troupe DiCoupe played at CBGB, Max’s Kansas City, and other major venues in the CT and NYC punk/new wave scenes. The owner of CBGB, Hillel Kristal, said that they were the first band other than the Ramones to go from an audition to a saturday night slot. Vicki F is inspired by Patti Smith, Lou Reed, Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell, and much more. Her musical style is a mix of punk rock, new-wave, and art rock. “Definite Yes,” let all the music, passion, and emotions in her soul come out in the form of music.
