RANDYE KAYE—Voiceover artist and radio announcer

Klein Theatre Arts Master Class Workshop

Tuesday, March 15, 2022 from 6:00PM-7:30PM

Free admission

No registration is necessary. There is ample space in our 1447-seat theater for social distancing.

In-person and livestream options available

Each session will feature: (1) an interview with the guest artist to learn about his/her career path and influences, (2) a demonstration of the skills and craft of the artist’s field of endeavor, and (3) an interactive component where audience members are brought on stage to gain instruction in that craft. Maureen Hamill, Director of Education for Klein Theatre Arts, is the moderator.

Randye Kaye makes her living as an actress - if you expand to include radio (STAR 99.9, NPR/WSHU), voiceovers, writing, podcasts and public speaking. She is currently hard at work in the booth narrating audiobook #166, with more lined up. Still, theatre and music were her first loves, and every once in a while a fix must be arranged. Some favorite roles: Broadway Bound (Kate), Tale of the Allergist’s Wife (Marjorie), Nunsense 1 and 3 (Sister Robert Anne, directed by Danny Goggin), Into the Woods (Baker’s Wife).  Author: Ben Behind His Voices: One Family’s Journey from the Chaos of Schizophrenia to Hope - nominated for a Listen Up! Award for the audiobook version - and Happier Made Simple: Choose Your Words. Change Your Life (Front Porch Press, 2022).

SAG/AFTRA/AEA.
