PRE-SHOW RECEPTION FOR SPONSORS AT 6:30PM

We are excited to announce that ADL’s Voices: A Show of Unity will return to the Klein Memorial Auditorium for the second year.

Proceeds from the event will benefit ADL Connecticut. Their mission is to fight anti-Semitism and secure justice and fair treatment for all. VOICES will be an inspiring and fun evening that will showcase the importance of ADL through music and story-telling.

Trombone Shorty is a musician, producer, actor and philanthropist from New Orleans. He is best known as a trombone and trumpet player but also plays drums, organ, and tuba. His music is traditional New Orleans jazz, juxtaposed with funk, R&B, hip-hop, pop and rock. After starting out playing with artists including Lenny Kravitz and Eric Clapton, he recently toured with The Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Foo Fighters. Outside of his music career, he established the Trombone Shorty Foundation in 2013, which is actively involved in promoting music education in his hometown and ensuring schools receive quality instruments donated by Shorty personally. He also appeared as himself on David Simon’s HBO series Treme.

ADL Connecticut responds to incidents of anti-Semitism and other forms of hate in our towns, runs anti-bias/anti-bullying education programming in our schools, monitors extremists online, and partners with law enforcement to keep us safe.
