THE KLEIN IS HOLDING A JURIED ART CONTEST -
YOUR ARTWORK CAN BE IN OUR APRIL 4TH AUCTION!
After reviewing all works, 5 winners will be chosen by the selection committee. 10 runner-ups will have their art displayed in the Klein Mezzanine Gallery for the duration of the event. Artists will receive 100% of what their piece is sold for.
The purchase of a $10 auction ticket grants you one submission. Limit 3 submissions per artist. Win or lose, you will still receive a ticket to the auction.
To enter, purchase a ticket to the art auction. Email CallingAllArtists@theklein.org with your full name and order confirmation number, a jpeg of your submission, medium(s), measurements of piece, and price point.
Requirements:
Must live in Connecticut
Mediums accepted: paintings, sculptures, photography
Minimum size: 16in x 18in
Maximum size: 48in x 48in
Paintings should be wired.
Last day to submit: March 28, 2019

Important information for winners and runner-ups: The Klein is not responsible for lost or stolen paintings. Artists must sign a release before selling/displaying artwork. Information on when pieces are to be dropped off will be provided to the winners and runner-ups.

The Klein cordially invites you to attend our live fundraising art auction presented by Joseph Scott Galleries! At this fun event, there will be works by dozens of artists so there will be something for every taste and every price point.
Pieces to be Sold – 150 items (5 Local Connecticut Artists)
Art Price Range - $45 to a few Thousand
Originals – Tarkay, Peter Max, Park, Maimon, Malkin and Renssen
Signed Pieces – Warhol, Lichtenstein and Dali
Giclées and Serigraphs – Icart, Matisse, Chagall, Miro, Haring, Rembrandt, Shvaiko, Park, Kandinsky, Renoir, Pissarro, Calder, Monet, Degas, Banksy
Tickets: $10 benefiting The Klein Auditorium
Ticket proceeds benefit The Klein's diverse programming as well as our after school arts program, Klein Theatre Arts.

The Klein is sustained by the generosity of our community. We offer a wide range of programming and the ONLY tuition- free after school arts program in Bridgeport, Klein Theatre Arts. The Klein is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Your donations are tax-deductible.
