"LEFT" is a deeply personal and hauntingly evocative short film directed by Edwin Escobar. This suspenseful tale delves into the unsettling journey of a man in search of his missing father, while also confronting his own inner demons and memories. "LEFT" takes viewers on a profound exploration of self-discovery, all set against a backdrop of mystery and suspense.

Writer and director Edwin Escobar was inspired both by his late grandmother's battle with dementia and his take of the mental health effects of parentless homes. The story follows Sam Grimes, portrayed by Steven Edmonds, a man grappling with the sudden disappearance of his father. As he races to his childhood home, he becomes entertwined in a series of enigmatic events. Amidst perplexing visions and unsettling occurances, Sam embarks on an introspective quest, forcing him to unearth buried memories and confront his own sanity.
